MKM Open Thread (Feb. 7, 2012)

Welcome to your MKM Blog Open Thread for February 7, 2012, the day you discovered that the little mole on you shoulder that you were totally sure was nothing to worry about is actually a rabid groundhog.

Hey folks, have a good day out there in Deadspinland.  Be funny, don't be unfunny, make some meta jokes about Broadway and The Godfather, and please don't use a reply to a comment as an opportunity to turn a funny joke that you are just supposed to be praising into a comment that is somehow about you - an unfunny, non-contributing nothing.

Hope you'll continue to bring all your meta commentary, list of grievances, polls, and jokes you don't have the guts to make in public to our comment section below.

Cheerio.  Here's a Youtube clip to get you started.

  1. Really? Is your name Not 1, Not 2, Not 3.... because you can't stand to have the exact same joke told only once within a thread?

    1. Haha thanks for that.

However, I was thinking, if a joke can be thought up and retold by an un-funny commenter, it's probably just a poor reflection on the original joke. Time to step it up, me.

  2. Hey, did you hear how they say I got my name? It's because I like to hear each joke multiple times in the same thread!

  3. I made the mistake of not reading an AOBTS comment all the way through, beat me to the Belichick-as-a-rat punch.

Here's the comment I dropped off into the void, for posterity:

I've seen the commercial so many times, whenever I hear LMFAO I look for a bloated, anthropomorphic rodent wearing an oversized jacket. So, where's Belichick?
