I think we'd all agree it's been a real treat to see our good friend Miserable Shitehawk offering his insight in the balog comments today. Nice to see you buddy!

One thing he's consistently said is how time consuming the daily roundup was. It got me to thinking, how hard can it really be? So I decided to give it a go.

You get the idea.

Turns out it's pretty time consuming. I pretty much half-assed this post, and it still took over half an hour forty five minutes. So don't get your hopes up, this will most definitely not be a regular thing.

SavetoFavorites: DO keeping making comments like this. Shitehawk mentioned something today about a proliferation of recontextualizations (I didn't really read it, he's kind of a long-winded gas-bag), and it's great to see out-of-the-box formats.

That said, Hit Bull Win Steak showed us all that recontextualizations can always be done to perfection.

Guy Who I've Never Heard Of Until Today, aka MrCondensation, had a great play on the umpire posts in the spelling bee thread. Keep it up.

Also in the spelling bee post, Raysism made a funny. What isn't funny is that he's already bookmarked the comment under "hilarious."

But your day's winner was Steve_U (shocking, I know) for both his super Super Mario Brothers dig, and his fantastic joke in the Patrick Kane post. My favorite comments are often ones that manage to tell a little story in a few lines; this did so perfectly.

As for duds... take your pick. It looks like comment_ninja banned a few and moved at least 20 comments today, so a big +1 to him/them for help keeping the place clean.
