Carlos Mencia Lurks Amongst Us

Since the Kruk/Armstrong stuff, I'm a little riled up. I only point this out because well, it's basically plagiarism.  Sorry dude, it is.

Do a google search for the punchline. Okay, I'm done with this now.

  4. I get the criticism, and depending how it's viewed, that joke absolutely is (at worst) plagiarism (or at best, just a guy doing street jokes). However, let's all not trip over our nutsacks and draw a conclusion that using a famous punchline or a famous line or whatever is per se plagiarism. I've seen a number of excellent commenters make great jokes by repurposing a famous line to a new circumstance, and the joke there is the application of the (at this point) cliche or hacky line to a brand new set up, usually in a clever way.

That would be a very good point, if it weren't for the fact that The Black (and white) Death Pandemic is nobody's idea of an excellent commenter. He sucks. Balls. Consistently.

  5. It's certainly not a bad pun or something re-purposed to reference the horrible death of a minor public figure, that's for sure.
