It's pretty great that the character minimum for allowing replies/promotions also appears to apply to allowing bannings.
No, they're still banned. It just doesn't show the text on comments that are short of the minimum character limit for replies.

Yup. And our own RMJ=H just went through the looking glass...
RMJ=H is only banned on Gawker though, it doesn't go site to site.
